What you receive when you exchange:
- 100% of the diamond value, calculated at prevailing lab-grown diamond market rates at the time of exchange.

This is the full material value of what you originally purchased, recalculated at today's market — and not a depreciated trade-in number pulled from thin air.
A few things to keep in mind:
- Your original invoice and diamond certificate are required for valuation. Keep them safe.
- If a diamond certificate is lost, a ₹1,500 revalidation fee applies.
- The exchange value is credited to your Vaama account and applied toward your next Vaama purchase. It cannot be converted to cash.
- Any promotional discounts applied at the time of original purchase will be deducted from the assessed value, as those benefits have already been availed.

Vaama's Buyback Assurance means we will purchase your jewellery back from you, at any point in time, for 90% of its current market value.
Specifically, you receive:
- 90% of the gold or platinum value at current market rates.
- 90% of the diamond value at prevailing lab-grown diamond prices.
How the payout works:
- Bank transfer within 15 business days of final valuation confirmation.
- Or instant Vaama Wallet credit — with an additional 5% bonus on the assessed value.
- Original invoice and diamond certificate required. Lost certificate incurs a ₹1,500 revalidation fee.
- A flat ₹750 secure pickup fee is charged and adjusted against your final payout.
